Time and date: Tuesday 7 May, 6:00 – 7:00 pm
Place: The Clothing Store, Carriageworks, Sydney.

Join members of COMPOSTING as they open up their feminisms and environmental humanities reading group to visitors. In May, COMPOSTERS invite visitors to Kaldor Public Art Project 34: Absorption by Asad Raza to join a performative recitation of Maria Puig de la Bellacasa’s essay “Making Time for Soil.” Absorbed by the space, voice and text will add new layers to the substrate. Might this be a way of cultivating more thoughtful care labours as a salve for the exhausted soils that sustain us?

No prior reading is required; the reading will be provided at the event.
